Musing

About things that don't matter

A person lies dead not knowing the Lord

They've never been told or even explored

Our shame and our sin should not be ignored

As we muse about things that don't matter

Oppression runs rampant throughout our day

Pleasure first in a media array

We stray, we slay, we betray, we don't pray

As we muse about things that don't matter

Our churches get smaller, yet we increase

Countries keep fighting while searching for peace

Children don't listen, and many obese

As we muse about things that don't matter

It doesn't sit well in the pit of your soul

You know something's missing, what is the toll

No toll, faith applied, so what is your role

As we muse about things that don't matter
