Looking at the moon up high
Hoping someone else sees it
Gazing at the same night sky
Just sitting, staring a bit
Clouds pass by, I feel alive
I am not alone really
Other people see this thrive
Admiring life dearly
Nature is our greatest bond
It brings us all together
Gazing at the great beyond
Pondering our great tether
Futile as we sometimes feel
In some ways we are the same
Family on life's journey
Human beings by any name
