Moon Charms

A sonnet for the moon.

The moon just shines upon my face,

Never has it felt my grace.

Yet it still lingers every night,

Just lingering in my line of sight.

Smiling, happy, gracious moon,

I gaze upon you from my room.

I ponder upon your magnificent presence,

And the feeling that’s felt in your absence.

What have I done to be graced by thee?

What is there in store for me?

To you my moon there are two sides,

One I see, the other hides.

I’m not that bold either so I let it pass,

And simply give in to the spell you’ve cast.

About the Creator

Julia Alfred

I am a born Dreamer leading an unbelievable life.Encountered people who match the villainous and heroic personas we read about in stories & done things I would surely do better.

A penny for my thoughts is worth it.
