The wimps, the whiners,

The well-meaning liars.

Who use the poor,

To wipe their feet.

Of self-righteous hypocrites,

Who only criticize.

Because the world’s in shame,

But it’s only ourselves,

We have to blame.

Of all this insanity,

Because it seems we’ve forgotten,

We’re all one humanity.

It is better to give,

Than to receive.

The joy you get,

Will never leave.

When you give,

You, too, get a gift.

The smile it brings,

Gives your heart a lift.

Giving to others,

Is truly the way;

To put some sunshine,

Into every day.

The gift of giving,

Is worth much more;

Than any of the things,

You can buy in a store.

To give to others,

Is a gift from within;

That will reward your heart,

Again and again.

When you give,

You receive too.

For joy and love,

Will be returned to you.
