Missed Opportunity

I fell in love at first sight

Lost all reason and ration

Never will forget that night

Was overcome with passion

Had to keep my head on clear

Didn't want to come on strong

Never thought it a mistake

But I was completely wrong

I came across as too meek

And lost my lover's desire

I set myself up to fail

Made my own funeral pyre

Tired of this fallacy

It is how I've always been

Unaware of what to do

Over and over again

I wonder when I will learn

How to act around women

Learn to talk and what to say

One day it might just happen
