Misery Loves Company
Be the change you want to see!
The atmosphere around us feels miserable and meek
Every time you step in the drama repeats
Feeling like today will be the same as the rest
Everyone is miserable, no one even knows why
Spreading the feeling as soon as you walk through the door
There is nothing to be miserable for
We should rejoice in being awake another day
Keeping our jobs this day in age
Yet we walk around with such a long face
There is much to be happy about
Yet misery loves company
Here we are in a new place, yet the atmosphere is still the same
Will we ever see a change?
Not until we wake up and see that we are the change we want to be
Take away the frowns, turn them upside down
Be upbeat no matter the drama you see
Turn a blind eye to all you hear
Worry a bout you and see the positive view
The atmosphere around us will only begin to change with you
Bring the sunshine in
Let us kick this misery out
Always begin a new day with a smile on your face. You've been woken up to another day, rejoice in the sunshine and a fresh start. You don't want to carry the baggage of yesterdays sorrow and misery. Don't allow your misery to be the best company. Be the change you want to see. Start each day fresh and ready to go.
