Melody of Murder

There's murder in this heart guided by the shadows of moon

When it starts it stays saying it won't depart anytime soon

It lashes out in wroth seeking blood at any cost

It's closed behind doors, but with triggers it's unlocked

It drives a train of fury burning coal and will not stop

When it's told to go away it comes back just to knock

It wants to play when I'm not home then breaks in and won't listen

I hear it's screams internally then laughter that won't end

It says it considers me a friend and that we can even be friends

We're just segregaded we just have to make amends

But I'm too tired and your wishes just can't be admired

It desires a hole through the chest of each person I've hated

It wants to hear their last breath until they suffocate and pass away

It wants to see the blood drip off it's hand like wiped tears

It wants to feel the watery scarlet just the thought makes it jeer

It weilds pain, darkness, misery, and strikes throughout the years

Though seperate I've known it always lurks near

It's patient until I fall smiles then calls

I hear this sound through the thickest of walls

The sound of dripping steady and ticking

Trickling down through the air into the puddles

Of muddled minds it previously caught slipping

Offering the same promise to fill the hole that seems missing

It truly is an entity that's insidiously wicked

It speaks of help when It's the stick making you start tripping
