“Doctor, doctor! You’re pumping me full of pills!”
“I’m not certain they do anything, but make me feel very ill!”
“Listen here squirt - I’m in a position of power” -
“Just keep buying these meds”, as he stood over me like a tower -
“Shove those pills down your own throat - let’s see how you feel!”

Nailed the health care system!!! Loved you Limerick!!!💕❤️❤️
So well-written, insightful & truthful!
This was fun and humorous in a dark kind of way. I liked it! Good work Grz!
nicely done.
This poem hits close to home for me Mikeydred as I have STRONG views about pharmaceuticals and the entire industry 😒 Your work is illustrative of my perspectives. Thank you for writing and sharing!
That is a fun take on the challenge
You are an amazing poet
Brilliant take on the challenge - it turns out our lives have so many absurdities. I like this one.
Too much truth in what you say. Too many pills but not enough cures.
I downright hate pills. Pharmaceuticals get rich off us. Kinda like the guys who shove computers on poor kids but send their kids to schools in Manhattan and such where they learn how to rob us using their brains and no computers.
Gosh, this is soooo true! When we have a health issue, they give us medication which rectifies that but instead causes 10 other issues 🤣🤣🤣
Your limerick touches on a very important aspects of Western/traditional "health care".
