Marigold

Mistress.

Spare girl, amoungst the roses I am angry and misplaced.

A late night girl who see's herself out.

Misinterpreted my favorite is when they tell me I'm intimidating,

or even better when they call me a bitch.

I've grown comfortable in the void I'm safe here. No moms to meet or promises to keep but there's something about watching all your friends get married.

Whiskey kisses and cold night skys they always dream of me in color when the leaves die.

Deep red, baby blues a life I've build without room for two.

Maybe in a past life I wasn't a spare girl but a scared girl.
