What is it that makes your world go around?

Is it your children, family, possession of things?

Or is it your desire to change the world

For the better of the human race?

You want to bring about the end of coal

For power consumption, how would that go?

Lithium mining isn’t something to replace the smoke.

I agree that combustion should probably go,

But who’s to say that will save our souls?

The blades of turbines liter landscapes,

The fiberglass unable to escape.

Gallons of oil it takes

To lubricate the bearings encased.

Solar panels you say are the way to go,

Yet do you know

they destroy the environment

In which they are placed?

A study done to persuade a government in Africa

From using the things

Revealed that the ground under them

Heats an exponential degree.

Thus, the environment changes and affects us globally.

Things must change it’s true,

But let’s make sure those changes

Are good for me

And you.
