The moon rises high in the sky,
A silver orb aglow.
It casts its light upon the sea,
A dance of ebb and flow.
The sea is calm, a gentle breeze,
A mirror to the moon.
The tide begins to rise,
A silent, soothing tune.
The water swirls and eddies,
As the tide grows ever strong.
The moon watches on, a silent witness,
To the sea's eternal song.
As the tide reaches its peak,
The sea is wild and fierce.
The waves crash against the shore,
A symphony of nature's verse.
But as the moon begins to wane,
The tide recedes once more.
The sea becomes a calm and peaceful lake,
A serene, tranquil shore.
The dance between the moon and sea,
Is a dance that's never done.
For as long as the moon waxes and wanes,
The tide will rise and run.
So let us watch in wonder,
As the moon and sea unite.
For the dance between them,
Is a dance of love and light.
And as the moon sets and the sun rise,
The sea will rest, a new day awaits.

As the moon watches over its mate.

Just Sixty Seconds
Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it. His hands were tied to the chair he was sitting on, pushed up against the steel table. A small camera in the corner of the ceiling with a tiny red flashing light was the only thing he was focused on. He felt sick to the stomach. He knew he didn’t have long.
