I’m out the blue my sweet gentle hue no drama no problems I’m free no screws. Yes I knew there’s nothing else to do so I’ll just frolic the fields and nap in the bayou. There’s so much more love and support love ties us down with no remorse. Not forced but burned maybe lightly scorched my worlds a maze hay fields have burned. I miss the sun under it I’d run big yellow shimmery dazzling gaze I’m stunned. early morning fun forever rest in love eternity will wait for me to come.
Big ol brown eyes tears fall at times when your moving forward but then suddenly start to rewind, that red crimson nectar here in December will the snow cover my adventures.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.

Food — taste, smell, sensation — is a powerful conduit to the past, to memories pleasurable and painful and sometimes bittersweet, a mixture of comfort and challenge. Congratulations to Penny Fuller for Sativa — it’s a first win for Penny — a hymn to the “secret, unbounded/freedoms” of fresh peas in the pod. The narrative voice of the poem doesn’t really want to be outside, but finds joy in the green things of the earth; this is a lovely work of resilience.
