Broken and mended

Love and lust

I fell when he looked at me

Repeat offender

I ran when he said to me

Why don't you surrender

I died when he moved on from me

Was I the pretender

I cried when he turned on me

Now I'm the defender

Was I in control or was it delusion

When I was alone amid all the confusion

Convinved myself I am the solution

But all it was - another illusion

Defend, pretend, my friend, the end

Be well, can't tell, the smell of your spell

Love and lust, forever you must

Be there for no one but you and in trust
