Lost Soul
When you find someone who's been lost in this crazy world
You captured my attention
the moment I first laid
my eyes on you.
From that instant,
nothing would ever
be the same again.
Whirlwind in this crazy world,
you were the only light
in my darkness.
Bringing me joy
through the days
when I thought I was lost.
And now,
you are the one
lost in a world of loneliness.
An angel to many.
Your pain is my pain.
Silence on your end
is deafening to my ears.
Where are you?
A question asked
many times a day,
only to go
unanswered for too long.
Worrying if you are alright,
awaiting to hear anything
from you.
Darkness and pain
can be seen in your eyes.
You are there
and at the same time,
not present.
A special someone
who deserved the world,
even if you
don't see it that way.
Praying and hoping
you will soon see
the truth
and will no longer be lost.
