Loneliness

Loneliness

Tried by fire and hell many never face

She’s in a landslide with no one to embrace

Backfire Mademoiselle

Loneliness has found you…

What shall you do?

End the chase?

Give it space?

She’ll be gone without a trace

Her hellfire calls love a liar

Loneliness knows how to find her…

A decade of playing the semantics

It’s her way of taking some chances

Sinking low in quicksand she goes

Loneliness doesn’t leave her wasteland

Vanishing she’s frantic

Out of place

Romantic disgrace

Dressed in lace

Loneliness shows no affection

Just offers her cold rejection

Caught off guard by disconnection

Unnecessarily she shared

Caused more harm than good

Physically she's perfect

Loneliness says she’s not worth it

Watching her sink it whispers you’re not the one

Heart can’t move on

Imperfections to improve on

Five-hundred miles caused this part

Traveling distance doesn’t win his heart

Enough tears spill to fill her landfill

Face down her heart feels ill

The solution she gave was not good enough

Watches her weep it whispers you’re not the one

Sad, she looks Loneliness in the face

Says I’m moving on for a new embrace

A love that will never let go

Then Loneliness will find her no more...
