Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf and His Luna

He walks the dark path alone.

No place to call his home.

Moonlight guides his soul,

Like a mother calls her foal.

Howling winds push him in the right direction.

He knows he's reached the right section.

A connection of affection lingers,

He can feel a tingle in his fingers

As he closes in on his prey.

It's time to pounce with no delay.

Gripping it in his teeth, he stops,

For his prey isn't something that hops.

A young girl trembles in fear,

As his fangs grow near.

He drops her and runs off.

She collapses and let's out a cough.

Dazed, she watches him from afar, then gets up and goes to her car.

He watches her carefully.

She doesn't appear to be fully a bully.

She grabs something and throws it.

He's kinda scared and he shows it.

A piece of meat! What a lovely treat!

He snatches it up, and noms like a tiny pup.

She giggles and smiles

As she watches him hop around for miles.

This lone wolf isn't alone anymore.

His life means much more

Now that he's not lost on shore.

He's found his Luna right at his front door.
