What is the difference
Between you and I?
Is it hard to see?
For you?
For me?
How you are you?
And I'm just me?
I write, you read...
We are mostly the same,
In thoughts, in ways,
What we do,
What our life, it says...
But!
Where you see green grass,
Fresh air,
Dancing in the rains,
Arms abare...
I live in walls, surrounded by..
Some physical, others metaphorical, mental...
Of birth,
Of race,
Would you call it a disgrace? Maybe...
Yet, tis a beautiful thing,
To watch you dance,
To watch you sing.
Vicariously,
I live..
As the many you call friends do the same,
Whilst you fail to realize
The slight envy,
The slight of jealousy,
The slight of..
They feel,
Wishing from you,
What's me!
They are your validation,
You are their..
Elucidation, if you will..
Of what they cannot be,
While I...I am just..
Me!
Whom is the lonelier?
