Today is not the same as yesterday
today is the day that two souls become so softly gelled
today she waits not in her homely place
today she waits for his embrace
London is her calling now within the thundering bird
oh sweet metal beast deliver her safely there
for she has waited for time to pass so impatiently
London is waiting with equal excitement still
Her heart beats so that fills her senses
London sweet landing zone be so welcomed soon
alone with the thoughts of him brings her passion full
A stolen moment left in her memory all she has to hold
Today is to hold that dream within her heart
today London delivers him so devotedly to her
today she runs into the arms of her English warmth
Today has her locked into the prison of her very desire.
