Rid you of your joy, your essence,
That thing that makes you YOU!
Just so your light shines less brightly in their face.
Listen black child there is much of you
exposed and threatened....but your experiences are yours always!
It's the deep part of you that no one can touch.
I advise you to LIVE...
Live in color, live in joy, live in integrity, live as you!
Walk proudly in your uniqueness, and let yourself be free,
Challenge the status quo, and reach for your dreams,
Wide armed! In expectation of the abundance you'll possess.
The world is yours to have and hold. You are limitless!

Tiny Hearts
I took a breath and let another giggle past my lips.
