Like The Sea

Our souls, like the ocean meets the sky. Where one ends the other begins. Our love was like a beautiful sunrise over the sea but as the sunset fades into the night sky we realize that we are just two hearts that were set on fire. Our souls aligned. So beautifully we came together, so tragically we fell apart. I gave you my all but as each fragment of my heart and soul were retuned to me, broken like glass, I then knew that as the darkness set in and the sun disappeared, what looked so precious not so long ago now looked tattered and torn and in that moment I knew that nothing beautiful can last forever.
