I can't help but think of the

Things that might be

The places and people

I might someday see

I fantasize often

Of where I might go

The places and people

I might one day know

And if I did happen

To visit such sites

Such as the alps or

Those bright northern lights

What good would it do me

To go here and there?

When I haven't someone

With these sights to share

"But first you should be

Content with yourself

Before you pursue

It with someone else"

With that I agree,

I should feel fine alone

While I wish I did,

I just don't

About the Creator

Ryan Giese

I'm not formally educated in creative writing, or anything really, so don't expect much from me. I have, however, read bits and pieces of a poetry textbook I found at a thrift store.
