For many it's a struggle to begin each day Others awake choosing a facade to show People burned by love bury their heart in snow

Some chose isolation wearing a gaze that's cold They then died old without a lovers soul No family or friends no story to be told

The happiest people you would ever meet Could simply be hiding behind a personality If they're full of life there's a death not seen

Everyone has a secret or thoughts they wish to keep Behind some sleeves are scars of regret or marks of healing But they'd never wish for friends to hurt from their feelings

People will also distance when hurting the most This is when you hug them and promise to stay close Kindness lasts forever so become anothers hope

A dove stripped of wings could never chase the sky So reach to your friends encourage them to fly Feel what some can't and let your love be their light
