There's this way you look when you're telling a story, there's a comfort in your eyes that I see so plainly. When you stand in the door and my head tips back so far to meet your lips, it's one of those rom-com moments like a chuckle with a kiss.

I have been in and out of droughts for quite some time. Some seasons I am blessed with an abundance of water, other times I only have a little bit. But every now and then, there are periods when I have no water at all. I call this a drought period. One particular drought period I faced came unexpectedly and it was different from other droughts because there was a little rain here and there, but it just wasn’t enough. On top of there not being enough, the water was acidic. It was becoming impossible to survive, so I left in hopes of finding a land with better water. Now, I was in a complete drought, wandering through the desert not knowing if I would find water or not. Just when I was about to give in, locals from a town near by found me and took me in. They gave me the purest water I’d had in a long time. I have not been in a drought ever since.
