She asked me
if I was a late bloomer
:
As if it wasn't an insinuation
:
Ocean eyes stared
deep into her soul
in a cool silence
to give her the answers
for which she was waiting
:
It's unwise to doubt
the power of progress
which you cannot see
:
Best believe
my season is just beginning
Hardly have I ever peaked
:
I've been busy growing my roots
My hands steady at work
Digging my soles in the dirt
:
I bloom
everyday
my buds breathe
underneath
the surface
:
Sprouting the seeds
I've sown through
the gardens
and the graveyards
of this Earth
:
to grow my soul
harvested in this sacred vessel
into it's next rebirth
:
My roots grow deep
My stalk is thick
33 miles tall
my soul reaches
to the heavens
:
The leaves have shed
This is the beginning
of my spring
:
Watch me bloom
Like never before
:
Witness a super bloom
like none you have ever seen
