Kits and Cats - We love them all

Their only crime is they exist. They attempt to thrive in a world that finds them inconvenient. We do our best to show them kindness and keep them healthy and fed.

We try to keep their numbers small

We simply cannot catch them all

They hiss and spit and run and hide

And with the neighbors do collide

Big or small

We love them all

They bite and fight

We patch them up.

When sick we get the help they're needing.

We TNR to stop the breeding.

Some we pet and can enjoy

Some remain an aloof girl or boy.

Big or small

We love them all.

The neighbor asked

what is their number?

Too many, this we know

But the wild things have no where to go.

We love them from first breath to last

Often times we don't know their past

Whether strays who claim us

Or kittens born in our yard

Turning them away would be too hard.

Kits and cats

Big or small

We love them all.
