Just a sip

SPOON-

I have my tea; I have my spoon.

I have my favorite couch, in my favorite room.

TEA-

You and me are like two leaves of tea;

bleeding love and passion into this world.

Come bleed, come bleed with me.

PEBBLE-

Let me be a pebble that falls into a pond.

Spreading love and kindness... forever and beyond.

TEARS-

The tears are filling up my years with rain.

I contemplate the things I cannot change.

Is there a way?

A back road that can lead me through my day.

Most days are fine,

But time to time

It rains.

BE KIND-

I am most at home,

When I'm all alone,

Breathing away my day.

The anger around me,

Is caused by others,

Giving it away.

You cannot change others,

You can only change yourself.

So be kind in every way.

SHIP-

Where is the ship that will bring us home?

Your love is like the ocean,

Deep and mysterious.

I walk on your shore,

But my heart yearns to touch the bottom

Of your waters.

TATOOS-

These scars upon my skin,

These scars I hide within.

Painted scars upon my arm.

These scars won’t do you harm.

Oh friend, don’t you see?

I love these parts of me!

They tell the story of my soul:

Of birth, of death, of tree, of stone.

These scars tell of how I came to be...

These scars are the essence that is me.
