Poem of truth

Today continues history, yesterday is tomorrow’s fight. Tomorrow is another day in which black lives are hoping to see the light.

All of the pain and devotion Generations upon generations..

All of the racists and commotion.. Generations upon generations

All of the segregation and aggravation.. Generations upon generations

Misinformation and rehabilitation

of the mind, and peace that feels as though .. they’ll never find.

All of the souls and deaths.. But you know who sleeps well at night?

The amount of blood shed and disrespect.. Can you tell me who sleeps well at night!

They say “live the American dream” We will make “America Great Again”

.. and the press? No not that

.. and the puppets, the pawns playing their “roles” oh so well.

Let me just tell you that these THESE are the only people... the demons that could accel.

To paint a picture oh wait that’s the problem. These white supremecists can’t seem to register colour.

A shade is what they view

And if your shade is darker.. than unfortunately “I’m more superior than you”.

You know why black lives get to see the light? Do you know why we are the chosen ones? Do you really know who created and built America’s foundation..

because without our ancestors, what y’all call slaves. You people would be living in the opposite of what you call a “Golden age” !

From the Founding fathers, to presidency, to the KKK and other organizations designed to trap us in a system that forces us to fail..

To strip humans of their humanity

.. wow Lord these people just want to be set free

“Land of the free, in god we trust”

We didn’t ask to be here yet.. they brought us.

There was once a time our people thrived, once a time where their businesses were what it would feel like “to be able to reach the sky”.

Our people are smart, our people are strong, our people are MIGHTYYY, and that’s where you white racists seem to have it all wrong.. y’all are shiesty!

So we loot, so we fight, so we protest again and again.. and the fear of what has been brought upon us is why we will continue to do anything to survive.

Survive how these animals survive out there the wild. I don’t know what’s worst

Being black in America? Or being a zebra in front of a lion?

“History repeats itself”- so they say

It’s the only realist thing they’ve taught us in America... because the only thing repeating itself is our people being enslaved.
