Jealousy

Jealousy creeps in, like a thief in the night,

Stealing our joy, and causing us to fight.

It twists our thoughts, and clouds our mind,

Making us see what we wish we could find.

It's a vicious cycle, that only brings pain,

Feeding our insecurities, and driving us insane.

We compare ourselves, to what others have done,

And forget the unique path, we're meant to run.

But jealousy is a choice, that we can reject,

And embrace the beauty, of what we've been selected.

For each of us is special, in our own way,

With gifts and talents, that can brighten each day.

So let's choose to focus, on what we have within,

And let our light shine, without any dim.

For there's enough abundance, in this world so vast,

To allow us all to flourish, and to shine at last.
