You're in the Air Force Now

Arrived at Lakeland AFB at 12:30 AM

Start the next day at 5:30 AM

The TA tried to make us stand in formation

We had to get our uniforms and stuff before breakfast

Food was good

We all went to get hair cuts.

The barber was a comedian

Asked how much hair did I want to save

Then asked if I brought a bag to put it in

So funny

I learned hurry up and wait

Smoke them if you got um

The 4th week recruits sang to us as they marched by

Rainbow rainbow it is true

your recruiter just screwed you

We had a GI party that night

Clean the barracks with tooth brushes

Air Force wasn't my first choice

My lottery number was 25

Uncle Sam was inviting all boys

That is with a lottery number 53
