Invisible

Being invisible isn't always a bad thing, but it can be, sometimes being seen but not seen can be a blessing and beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

There she sits alone in her elegant dress of silk, her mind swimming with bitter words from the past which is yet to fully pass on, this is her final attempt, to rid herself of harm to truly know if he was ever seen at all.

Yet she sits in the silhouette of her own darkness sheltering herself with her walls of protection from everything, even joy. As smoke rises from her cigarette while she is still and silent, eerily watching the café around her with bitterness in her heart that her past lover causes, she feels she is nothing but clearly just invisible.

She could be so much more and better off with out him, rather than continuing to be his invisible toy, yet still she sits silent and waiting, watching the door of the café, while her wine glass slowly becomes half empty slowly drinking herself in to her early grave.

I would if she knows that he is never going to show up here tonight, she is invisible yet beautiful, as the cigarette continues to burn down and her half filled glass of wine in front of her is once again raised to her ruby lips, her invisibility is the cause of her own pain and darkness, triggered by her bitter lover who shadows love in fake wrappings.
