A haiku

By CJ MillerPublished about a year ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

lilith was the wind

cast off for sowing dissent

her tale eternal

eve channeled water

malleable in degrees

a vessel for change

adam akin to

earth: unyielding and settled

his deeds like bedrock

but it was the young

who went beyond the cave to

seek out life's true flames

nature poetry
