silent sound
seeping slowly
supplementing...
saving souls
speaking softly
supplying solace
sitting still
surrendering seconds
saying, "Stay"
so silently...
still, somebody strides superciliously
still, somebody speaks severely
still, sabotaging selves strangely
selecting sorrowful streets
submerging self-pity
sordid souls
striving, seeking silence...
some sickened societies
subdividing
segregating
secluding
sharp scissors snipping safety
supporting sternforemost surmises
scattering symptoms
substantiating sickly schemes
suffering steadily
slanting sideways
slipping
sinking
silence sought...
silent sound
seeping slowly
supplementing...
saving souls
speaking softly
supplying solace
sitting still
surrendering seconds
saying, "Stay"
so silently...

๐จ "In The Silence I am Safe" ๐ An ode to the power of silence beautifully expressed through alliteration and repetition. ๐ญ The imagery of seeping sound and surrendering seconds creates a serene atmosphere. ๐ The contrast of stillness and chaos in society is depicted through sharp scissors and sickened souls. ๐ The poem invites us to seek solace in the silence amidst the turmoil of life. ๐
This is a beautiful ode to the power of silence. ๐ The use of alliteration and repetition adds to the poetic flow of the piece. ๐ It reminds us that in moments of stillness and quiet, we can find solace and safety. ๐
Lovely, especially the tiny bird in the tree.
