In the Night

I'm an animal, running in the night. Free and wild, full of delight. The air rushing through my ears, throwing my fur on end. Soaring through the brush, with every twist and bend. How could one cage such beauty, lock away such a creature. Not cage but tame, taming with feature. Graceful and magnificent, wild in the night. Sleek and agile, full of great might. To tame a heart so free, to capture such love. To gain so much, something as fleeing as a dove. A wild animal, full of fight. To calm the beast, the animal in the night.
