It seems as though
you're the critical catalyst
to all that I do
I'm standing and breathing
One name on my last breath
Falling out of the blue
Take the weight from my chest
And let the rest all subside
To tell the truth
It's unclear to me why I'm alive
But by you I'm mystified,
petrified, starry-eyed
by all that you do
You make me want to
Breathe again
Take you in hand and,
Stand beside,
The shores, the deserts, the cliffs
Anywhere under the sky
With you everything is all in due time
You make me want you
I'll live wholly
Breathe in slowly
Drag feet only
To keep step with you
You took my hand and
Pulled me down to your eyes
Sat there so still I never realized
You were weaving
Your arms through mine
They all screamed out
But I never heard
You whisper, I recite every word
I remember you said:
I'll need you when I'm dead and gone
I need you while I'm here
I need you when I'm far away
As I need you when I'm near
Of all fears made everyday
Only one thing rings clear
In losing you, the world disappears
It seems as though
you're the critical catalyst
to all that I do
I'm standing and breathing
One name on my last breath
Falling out of the blue
Take the weight from my chest
And let the rest all subside
To tell the truth
It's unclear why I'm alive
But by you I'm mystified,
petrified, starry-eyed
by all that you do
You make me want to
Breathe again
Take you in hand and,
Stand beside,
The shores, the deserts, the cliffs
Anywhere under the sky
With you everything is all in due time
