Imperfect world (and Nothing)

Poems

Imperfect world:

whispers in the starlit dream

A rose, clouds, shadows and darkness

splendid and serine

beating hearts

shining in dampened light they gleam

the world around them

crushing tender beam

choking

fading

wilting

dying

gasping

longing

yearning

breaking

tears upon the sun

two may be free

a story with a happier ending

with the death of but one

or none

crushed under the world

for the light of love

bloomed and spun

in darkness and shadow

for not more than a single rose

a freedom not yet sung

Kaloriinn, James. Mason

Nothing:

Like a poem,

only your heart has heard.

In dark spaces

that no soul dares tread

A found the road

Only I could follow

The map

My scars

The path once traveled

Along the way

I lost myself

And found someone

Matted and marred

Like ashes

Scattered afar

Every memory

Claiming a share

Of a sapphire city

No longer there

Until the heart

Was not but a pinch

My soul but a memory

I found the destination

Peaceful and bleak

Like a universe beginning

A bang unique

Then all was quiet

None were around

There was no one breathing

There was no sound

The map it was

True to its nature

I'd walk it again

But don't follow me here

The quiet is bliss

Nothing is the best feature
