impatience does damage

can't rush happy endings

impatience does damage

it can ruin a good thing

bring forever to an end early

every action could show you love

but the doubt creeps in

if I don't say it now

the window will close

they secretly want a grand gesture

they want flirtation not meaningless conversation

that's what impatience tells me

even a soulmate gets frustrated

if they aren't ready for what you are asking of them

true love still takes work

treating it like destiny from the jump

would scare any rational person

if it means this much

you have to trust that they aren't going anywhere

unless they indicate otherwise

but don't speed toward a messy ending
