In a mystic daylight
I was searching for a theme
to write
a new poem
My closed eyes always did the trick
even though writer’s block comes through,
in the closed eye stagnation,
I found a memory from reminiscence
‘blue bird song in the cloud-covered sky,
chirping muse,
joys
n
delights,
that loved shadow over mine
a kiss, deeply profound’,
hey, memories can be deceiving, you know,
some days, when we think about our lost tenderness
we create illusional portrayals of romance
that we tend to recall,
without realizing
what’s fantasy or not!
