Icarus

We learned how to fly, to be burned from up high.

Icarus fell from the sky, we learned when we cried.

Got lost in the seams, battling the currents upstream.

From the water we built up steam, kept reaching for that dream.

We dug inside and reached black gold, to iron rails powered by coal.

From seams to breaking the fold. We felt the fire burning in our soul.

We created fuel to the fire, emblazoned with a piston's .

grind our wheels, we grew tired but kept driving higher

Beyond the bulls, beyond the crane, there was a lost memory we wanted to gain.

found the answer past the clouds of rain, delivering ourselves to a higher .

A long journey from simple roads of pavement, the starry eyes of glowing fervent

Bedazzled to the dawning light of the firmament swimming in the waters of the Milky current

From the memory of the fall of Icarus

From the tears, we thought unjust

We rode through times tumultuous

The progress, the journey continuous

We learned to fly from the strength in us.
