Dear Lovely,

When you speak

I am drawn toward you

And statically electrified,

And as I pull away

As you don't want to take my time

As I say goodbye

I’m disoriented, dizzy-eyed

Like I have lost my sense of gravity

And my insides resonate achily.

Sincerely yours,

I.L.Y.

Dear Darling,

When you smile

I am falling toward your core

Like the tides to the moon

And as I pull away

As you remind me I am human

As I remember Earth’s gravitation

I crash, stumble, swooning

Like I have lost the core of my soul

And my tears irrationally flow.

Your Loyal Friend,

I.L.Y.
