I Hate Everything

...and it becomes it's own entity

I hate Everything

And no I’m not that spoiled

Not that naive to think I’m owed

But because Everything hates me

You see

Anytime I get ahead

Or feel an ounce of joy

Everything will come crashing down

My hopes crushed; dreams devoid

You see

I know it’s not just me

That other people have it worse

Everything is kind to some

But honestly and definitely not to most

You see

Everything is fickle

You never know who they’ll choose

The ones who seem to shine brighter

I bet you didn’t know this, but

They hate Everything too

I wrote my first poem in second grade, I had my poetry published in an anthology when I was 15 and now I think I have the beginnings of my first(-ish) novel in the works. My mind constantly builds worlds and stories that I hope to share!
