Lost with his touch

Oblivious of his recklessness

He devoured the hearts of souls

That thought they could tame the beast within him

But instead strengthened the beast

For he felt powerful

With the ability he had to capture souls that were filled with light

And how he engulfed the light with his darkness

Despite the knowledge of his wrath

His dark side glowed like diamonds glittering in the sun

Even I marvelled at his glow

I don’t hate the beast he became

But I would like to meet its master, it’s creator

Who was she

Was she like him

Was he like us

Trying to understand the darkness that lingered in her eyes

Did you explore the ominous mystery she had

Did it spark excitement

Did you love her despite her darkness and recklessness

Did you turn into her because you tried to tame her

But instead lost her
