Human and Inner Voice - Poem

S/He has always read books and attended concerts

They try to have good conversations with the folks they talk to

All of this was being done to freshen up

Every single day, man returns from short death

Unable to hear one’s own voice

S/He sets out to perform his designated social duty

One doesn’t want to hear that voice

It will be the last person left when everyone has left

It is still our only companion

Something is happening

Ignoring the internal voice is the preferred course of action

This voice is being sought again in the community
