Hope sprouted in the sunlight
Fluttering forth
Through a crack in the sidewalk
On display for all to see,
A small speck of green
Disturbing the gloom
And monotony of everyday
Preparing for its moment
To bloom-
Only few noticed,
Took the time to peer and observe
The petals forming
Turning their eyes to the level
Of the sprouting flower,
Nature's magician
Illuminating ideas not yet seen,
Not yet thought of,
Visions of fields
And wildflowers parading,
The vision of a world alive again
Thriving on nature’s wind,
The essence of an awakened soul
Flooding through veins thought sleeping,
Simply because of the speck of green
That chose that moment to sprout,
Hope awakened in time
To save a village
From the destruction it was preparing
To cause itself
In the wake of money’s chase.

Where did that happen? Something you experienced? Nice piece though. Thanks for letting it spout and sprout for us!
