Honeysuckle Color

It is a beautiful color.

Breaking teeth shoved on weak knuckles

Heavy breathing and honeysuckle color

The smell of acid and flower

Collision of a tower

You have emptied your stomach by the hour

Hair clumps and dried lips

The smell of sour on fingertips

Dizziness on ice

Everything nice

Everything that is wonderful about being alive

But you do not feel alive

You are merely trying to survive

Honeysuckle color

It is a beautiful thing

To be made of glass and flowers

Dying smiles and crashing towers

Cracked skin and dried lips

But at least you feel like a sunflower

At least you feel pretty

At least you’re not guilty
