Holy Matrimony

You will always be mine

I’ve been in danger of indecision

His eyes speak lies through twisted vision

He speaks in tongues with satanic admiration

He’s a demonic monster, my loving abomination

He’ll strike me to the ground

And my love yet rebounds

Will I always stay by his side?

Behind locked doors where I hide

Behind concealer I am bruised

I am beaten and forever abused

I just can’t stand it when I can’t stand

But each blow is worth it when you hold out your hand

This violence is silent and it will never leave our room

It’s too sad to think that my love will be my doom

Oh I’ll take it for our romance, it’s how you show you care

“Oh please I didn’t mean it”, when it hurts you’re always there

When I forget, when I fall, when my wounds make me shake

You’re always there through it all, my confidence you’ll take

Your rule of thumb holds me down, and I’ll thank you every time

As I go numb, as you watch me drown, “you will always be mine”
