Heaven On Earth
Open Your Eyes
I've been to heaven once or twice
It's real nice
but Earth has it's own heaven
if you open your eyes
If you step out of the cities
away from the electrical grids
you'll have a taste of Eden
inside of natures fields
Clouds emit divine messages
& remind us of impermanence
Animals of all kinds remind us
we are all just one soul family
Ocean breezes refreshes our electric fields
Fields of flowers amplify our aura's vibration
Trees are conduits for source energy
Grasslands recharge our chi
Meandering rivers replenish our souls
while cleansing our beings
Earth is indeed a heaven of it's own
Tangible, experiential
A beauty so wild and bold
I'm almost finished with my work here
but I'll always cherish this planet deep in my soul

How the Harvest Mouse Came to Suisun Bay
A long, long time ago there was a family of harvest mice. Mice are common, but these were unique – born to those who had lived in the salty, marshy bay for many generations, these mice ate and drank from the sea as well as the land and rivers. For generations, there were only the southern families, scattered along the marshes of Corte Madera and in the San Francisco Bay (U.S. Fish & Wildlife, 2013). One family, however, would undergo strife and conflict before reaching a whole new world. What became of them after is another tale entirely – but this is how their story begins.
