The heart, a treasure, deep within

A symbol of love, where it begins

It beats with passion, it beats with fire

A source of warmth, in cold desire

It breaks and mends, it aches and soothes

It dances with joy, it moves and grooves

It keeps us going, through thick and thin

It helps us love, and love again

The heart is where, our true selves hide

Our dreams and hopes, our fears inside

It's where we find, the courage to be

The courage to love, and set ourselves free

So hold your heart, with care and grace

For it is your guiding light and space

Nurture it well, and it will thrive

And fill your life, with love and light.
