Happiness
What is true happiness?
How does happiness make you feel?
Warm and soft like freshly made candy floss?
Her gracious plumes of every face;
Return a merry voices of debate,
Stretched like a ray along the turbid beach,—
Read in my vision on thy pallid brow,
They flow no single truth as well;
My eyes swell when I think of her
Is her voice the true essence of my happiness ?
Or, am I lost in translation?
Lost in a lie
Or does happiness engulf me?
Cherished the electric air,
She filled a slender one,
Hold the bright harp without her hills,
Kneel, write for every word;
Smiled on her child at each sweet spell—
She stood with a close and gentle grace,
White pearls around her way,
Deep in my heart, I drew a voice,
Spring came to our little room,
Life feels better when the flowers bloom
