A Poem

Guide You Forward
Photo by Jordan Madrid on Unsplash

That which guides you forward,

Pulls at you from afar.

The call to move you onward,

is reflected in a star.

Perhaps at first you stumble,

and don’t know where you are,

but strength is in the struggle,

and hope is in your heart.

Braveness is alertness,

not necessarily without fear.

Life is there to show us

to find courage in our tears.

The thing you need to know is,

It’s never too late to change,

and it’s time you start to notice,

that you’re the master of your fate.

To take responsibility,

Is very hard to do.

But experience, and humility,

are Great teachers too.

Take control of your life,

your braver than you know.

Life’s no fool to strife,

to struggle, is to grow.

Life is too short to stay afraid,

To do nothing is to die.

Through experience our toll is paid,

Then in death and peace we lie.
