Goodbye

To my grandmother

Losing you hurt like a thoughsand cuts

But the wounds of the past still bleed

So while the stitches uncoil and break

I sit here and wander into the void

If only I could hear your laugh once more

Or see your pretty smile

But only memories of a broken past are before me

Bits in pieces

Good and bad

I wish I could pick them all up and recreate you

I wish we could sit and have our little talks

Your words lacking judgement but always filled with love

But time was cruel

And crueler now that you are gone

I guess this is goodbye.
